sick day

I called in today, croaking like a frog. It felt good to sleep, stay in bed, and catch up on some paperwork. Especially since the weather has been nasty as hell. I debated about calling in. I thought I'd feel bad about missing a day and the kids falling behind. But I don't. I needed the time to collect my brain. I think tomorrow will be a better day because of it.

Although, I am kind of hoping that school gets delayed (or canceled?) on account of the weather. Even though I know it probably won't happen. It would be nice. I've enjoyed the quiet time to myself. Now I really can't wait until Thanksgiving Break. It's going to be heavenly.
